BIOPHYSICS

The journal BIOPHYSICS was founded in 1956. The journal is published under the leadership of the Department of Biological Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The founders of the journal are the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Cell Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The journal is included in the Higher Attestation Commission List and is indexed in Scopus.

BIOPHYSICS is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal publishing research on physical mechanisms of processes in biosystems.

The Journal:

  • Covers a broad spectrum of topics, including structure and dynamics of molecules, cells, and tissues, the influence of environment, and energy transformation
  • Focuses on thermodynamics, biological motility, population dynamics, and cell differentiation modeling.
  • Publishes letters, reviews, and mini-reviews on problems of general interest.
  • Welcomes submissions in English from all countries.

MEMBRANE AND CELL BIOLOGY

The journal BIOLOGICAL MEMBRANES was founded in 1984, it is peer-reviewed and is included in the List of Higher Attestation Commissions, in the databases Web of Science, SCOPUS, RSCI, etc.

The Journal publishes novel experimental and theoretical works on physics and chemistry of membranes and cells. Among the basic topics of the Journal are membrane composition and structure, passive and active transport, bioenergetics and photobiology, reception and regulation, membrane aspects of cell biology, immunology and medicine.

The Journal is multidisciplinary and publishes the papers based on different approaches: biophysical, biochemical, cytological, molecular biological, etc. Another feature of the Journal is a high content of theoretical studies.

Biologia et Biotechnologia

The journal Biologia et Biotechnologia was established in 2023 by the Federal Research Center “Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences”.

Biologia et Biotechnologia is an international journal devoted to the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge pertaining to microbiology, biotechnology, and related academic disciplines. This is a quickly peer-reviewed journal publishing original scientific articles, reviews and short communications both in Russian and English. The journal is fully available online.

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else. Articles that do not meet the Journal profile or submission requirements are rejected without peer review.

The Journal was registered as an electronic mass media on November 10, 2023 by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications.
